Hi,
I am Harry and joined the group today (which I think is a great idea). I live in the Uk with my wife and have four grown up daughters. I enjoy sport and hold a 3rd degree black belt in shotokan karate, which is one of my most pleasing achievments (apart from raising four daughters).
I have worked in UK media for 30 years in large ad agencies in the media department, and have bought and planned many ad campaigns across all media. I ran my own media independent for 10 years and now work on my own as a consultant. One of the areas I am approached on more than any is Uk Tv advertising where I have many contacts and an area I enjoy.
I have been studying online for the past two years and build web sites and also offer web hosting, though still keep my foot in the door of traditional media.

Telegraaf Media group is representing lots and lots of mediatypes in which we really can rock with crossmedia!

TMG (Telegraaf Media Groep N.V.) is the largest media group in the Netherlands with market leadership positions in relation to daily newspapers, magazines, online and offline media and radio.

TMG is the largest newspaper publisher in the Netherlands with the prominent De Telegraaf and Sp!ts daily newspaper titles.TMG has a strong market position in the Netherlands in the magazine segment on the basis of general interest titles and on the basis of titles aimed at specific target groups.

In the Dutch radio market, TMG holds a majority interest in the Sky Radio Group, a market leader among commercial radio stations.

TMG is furthermore increasingly active in new, mostly digital, forms of media via the Internet, mobile telephones, narrowcasting and cross-media.

On the international scene, TMG has gained a position in the trade fairs and events segment through its participation in Expomedia Group plc, and in radio and television via an option on 12% of the share capital with voting rights in ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, the newly formed ProSiebenSat.1 and SBS Broadcasting S.à.r.l combination.

Outside the Netherlands, TMG is active in Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark and Ukraine: partly on the basis of multimedia publishers focused on general or specific interest target groups and partly in specialised niche markets such as puzzle magazines.

The shares in Telegraaf Media Groep N.V. are traded on the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange

Hi there,

Welcome to the site, I have to say even though I am welcoming you, I am very new to here also.

I have been in the printing industry all my life, from spotting negatives to running presses, I have moved into the technical digital side of things now.

I am now based in Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. I am the Company Director of the Digital Print Division of Niche Communications. We run Xerox Igen machines. We have been involved in digital printing/personalised mailing for 5-6 years now, but have last year invested in software called Pageflex, which has enabled has to step up into Cross Media world.

We now produce personalised marketing campaigns for a number of clients which involves personalised mailers/ personalised emails/ PURLs with connection between all three.

So if I was to call myself an expert in cross media, I would be lieing a little, but we are getting there.

Neil
