Do I understand you right that with platform you refer to medium as in sms, tv, web, kiosk, billboard etc. Because you can also mean the hardware platform: broadband, mp3 player, pc, console etc. As you have a technical background I am trying to understand your use of platform. For instance the word concept in technical terms meand that you have a prototype. For creatives it means you have an idea (on paper). But I do agree that platform and content should be in synch. Sometimes I do get the feeling that the hype of cross-media causes strange things. Like Talpa a tv station in the netherlands that had a archive for content with numbered links to 118! Yes there is a need for archive, but 118 links is not a search mode that is going to be used now is it.
